BlogRush: Close, but no cigar
I hate it when great ideas fail
BlogRush offered huge potential for delivering traffic to my blog. The premise seems viable enough and the UI (user interface) seems easy enough to navigate. At first glance, it appeared to be a nice addition to the social media scene. Even builds on the network marketing "downline" concept to help build traffic...
However, there is one significant flaw. It provides a "filter" tool that promises to keep offensive blog posts from appearing on your site. But it does not work. Even worse, my cry for help yesterday went unanswered. Whereas eBay is too big and profitable to worry about personal interaction with customers, methinks BlogRush has made a mistake in duplicating that customer service model. I failed to notice that there was no phone number for support. How stupid.
Back to the drawing board.
