Marketing and other Constraints

Draw Poker I am told this is a must own for the would-be Texas Holdem player. Kinda rare. Maybe even worth a lot more than the asking price. http://loneagle2002.tripod.com/oldwestantiques/id1.html I bet my friend that I could sell this book in less than 48 hours (the clock started ticking the moment this post went live). How? Simple. Marketing. I remember (with pain) one of the few classes in college that brought my GPA down to 3.8... Marketing. Why? It was wrong-headed thinking at its best. Marketing is just one link in the "systems chain" that define a business. Any business. Yes, it is still about the "four Ps" but it is more than that, it is the precursor to the sales function. Can you make a sale without marketing? Sure. But why take the chance? But I digress. Here is my offer:
  1. Buy Uncle George on Draw Poker from www.OldWestAntiques.biz
  2. Send me a copy of your receipt
  3. Lets pick a two hour window, when the two of us can discuss and solve your toughest business problem. At no additional charge (other than your phone call).
In twenty plus years of problem solving, I have yet to be stumped. You may not like the solution, but I am convinced that together, we can craft one or more approaches that will move the large, heavy obstacles from your path! Better yet, fly Luke Short and myself to Las Vegas, and we will show you our favorite night spots... for cards. Maybe dice. Your treat. -ski P.S. What constraint is holding you back?

Rocks and Purple Curves

Covey's Rocks and SKI's Purple Curve Effect

Recently, explaining throughput and methods to increase cash flow and throughput, I used Covey's exercise of filling the glass fish bowl with rocks, stones and sand.

Check out Covey's 8th Habit for details...

Check out my Purple Curve Effect too.

Fourth O July

Independence Day

Trust you enjoyed your freedom. Consider thanking a member of our Armed Services. They maintain it at great personal cost. What might otherwise be a thankless job... unless each of us take the time to make a difference.

So, what are you doing with your freedoms?
